This notice applies only to the website contact and quotation processes.
Data controller
AMS Horeca — Akdeniz Mutfak ve Soğutma is the data controller for these processing activities under KVKK.
Yalı St. No: 377/15, Muratpaşa / Antalya, TürkiyeFactory
Boğazköy, Bolluca, İstiklal Dist., Erciyes St. No: 12, Arnavutköy / Istanbul, Türkiye
1. Personal data processed
Depending on the form and the information you provide, we may process:
- Identity data: your full name.
- Contact data: telephone number and, optionally, e-mail address.
- Customer transaction data: company name, message, project or delivery notes, selected products, product codes, models and quantities.
- Transaction security and record data: request number, submission date, site language, acknowledgement of this notice and e-mail notification status.
2. Purposes of processing
We process your data to receive and assess your contact or quote request, communicate with you, provide product or service information and quotations, manage pre-contractual steps, preserve the integrity of the request record, and establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We do not use form data to send marketing communications.
3. Collection method and legal grounds
Data is collected directly from you when you submit a website contact or quote form electronically. Name and telephone are required so we can respond; company, e-mail and message fields are optional.
Processing relies on the conditions in Article 5(2) of KVKK where it is directly related to establishing or performing a contract, necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right, or necessary for our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights. Please do not submit special-category personal data through the forms.
4. Data transfers
To the extent required for these purposes, request data may be shared with authorised AMS Horeca personnel; technical service providers supplying private file storage, hosting and e-mail services; and legally authorised public authorities or judicial bodies when required by law.
The current infrastructure uses Vercel Blob for private request records and Google/Gmail for notification e-mails. As these services may operate systems outside Türkiye, data may be processed abroad; such transfers are subject to Article 9 of KVKK.
5. Retention and security
Request records and related correspondence are retained for the time needed to assess and conclude the request and thereafter only for applicable limitation periods, legal obligations, and the establishment, exercise or protection of rights. When the grounds for processing end, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Form records are not published in a public database. They are stored in private storage, and the notification e-mail is sent only to the company’s designated mailbox.
6. Your rights under Article 11 of KVKK
You may apply to the data controller to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information if it is.
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose.
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where the conditions apply; and request notification of these actions to recipients.
- Object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis.
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
7. How to apply
You may submit a written request identifying yourself and your request to either address below, or send it from an e-mail address you previously notified to us to info@amshoreca.com. Applications must include the information required to verify identity and contact the applicant, together with the subject of the request.
Applications are answered free of charge as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on their nature. A fee under the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply where the response causes an additional cost.
